Christmas 2006 update

Billed Bladet has revealed the Christmas card from the Crown Prince Couple, above.

The younger Danish Royals visited the Tivoli amusement park in Christmas mode in Copenhagen on 23 December 2006, before returning to Fredensborg for the family party hosted by Frederik and Mary at The Chancellory House the same day. It was obviously a very kid-centred Christmas, which is just as it should be! At Tivoli were Frederik, Mary, Christian, Joachim, Nikolai (who has lost his front teeth to the tooth fairy!), Felix, Crown Prince Pavlos, Achileas, Princess Alexia, Carlos Morales, Arrietta, Anna-Maria, Prince Filippos, Olympia, Odysseus, Prince Gustav, Carina Axelsson and Crown Princess Marie-Chantal and youngest Konstantin-Alexios.

We can see from these photos that Mary seems to be the family photographer. We have seen Mary taking photos before (at the Athens Olymics, for example), but at Tivoli Mary is carrying a pretty serious looking camera!

Billed Bladet also reveals Frederik and Mary went out on New Year's Eve with their closest friends and they all left the children at home.
