Margrethe & Frederik @ University of Århus

The University of Århus celebrated its annual festival and 80-year jubilee last Friday (September 12, 2008) with Queen Margrethe and Crown Prince Frederik as its special guests. Crown Prince Frederik received an honour award for his role in promoting the university as a prominent graduate. Crown Prince Frederik graduated as a Master of Political Science in 1995. During his studies in Århus Frederik stayed in a cottage at nearby Marselisborg Palace (his student digs below, with Holger Foss) and as a part of his studies he spent a year at Harvard. Queen Margrethe also studied political science at the university in the early 60s, among other studies elsewhere, but did not graduate with a degree.
