Frederik & Mary @ ARN2 gala premiere

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary attended the gala premiere of the second installment of the ARN movies, ARN2: The Kingdom at Road's End, at the Imperial in Copenhagen last Thursday (11 September). Crown Prince Frederik was onstage before the film began with the director Peter Flinth and the managing director of SF Films to receive the money raised at the gala for United World Colleges, for which he is a patron.

B.T. 'Kronprinspar til ridderfest' - Crown Prince Couple to knight's party
The Crown Prince Couple got a chivalrous reception at the opening night of the last chapter of the story about the Templar Knight "Arn-Riget ved vejs ende". There were fairytales for all when a prince and a princess would hear stories about knights and maidens. And it wasn't the first time the crown prince and crown princess went to the the movies in order to follow the Templar "Arn".
Just as at the gala opening night to the first fairytale film of author Jan Guillou's books, Frederik and Mary arrived on the red carpet at the Imperial in Copenhagen...
But it wasn't exclusively all party and pleasure for the future regent couple.
Before the crown prince got permission sit down in the dark cinema, he accepted a cheque for 102,400 DKK, as protector for United World Colleges, which gives scholarships to two young students to study overseas every year.
