Couples & kids @ christening
On February 2, 2008 Crown Princess Mary, Crown Prince Frederik and their children Prince Christian and Princess Isabella attended the christening of the daughter of their good friends Birgitte and Jeppe Handwerk's second daughter Palma. Another friend and well-known Danish actress Ellen Hillingsø is the godmother. The christening was atended by many well-known faces - friends in the close circle around Frederik and Mary and many of their children. Prince Joachim and Marie Cavalllier also attended. The christening was at the Garnison Church in Copenhagen (Felix attends the pre-school at the church).

Princess Mary is darling but I really think that Prince Frederik needs to rethink that suit!

Our info is that it was on the Saturday (2nd) not the Sunday (3rd)

If you observe Prince Henrik, whimsy is a regular vistor.

hey Sternchen, thanks, and yeah, I agree about Isabella and Frederik. I must dig out some pics to illustrate! Christian doesn't seem to strongly look like either side as a baby/toddler, but Isabella is almost a doppelganger!

I'm a longtime reader but first time poster here. I had to post a comment regarding CP Frederik's suit as I also agree he could do better. However, I didn't know the suit was velvet! That makes it a double no-no.
CP Mary looks lovely, as usual.
