Frederik & Mary @ Danish Design event in Chicago

Yesterday afternoon Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary visited the Danish Design event at The Spires Sales Centre at the NBC Tower in Chicago to help promote and show off new designs. It featured Bang&Olufsen, Georg Jensen and Louis Poulsen in a joint event for an invited audience. The Danish ambassador in Washington, Friis Arne Petersen, is accompanying Frederik and Mary and emphasised the functionality and aesthetics of Danish design combined with inspiration from nature. Today the program focuses on energy and climate and the Crown Prince Couple will also to visit a Danish nursing home. Next stop is Des Moines, Iowa, this evening before visits to Nebraska, Colorado and then New York. (more to come...)

Hi Anon,

Frederik broke his leg sledging with Christian and Isabella on the last day of their skiing holiday in Klosters.

Copy & paste to read the blog posts about it:
