New interview with Frederik & Mary

A new extensive two part interview with Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary by Karen Margrethe Schelin has been published in Berlingske Tidende's Sunday edition today.

It is long and it is Christmas, so the little elves behind the scenes here at the blog are working on translations, but they won't be ready immediately. Since many of us will be also be almost as busy as the elves, the translations will have to be something to look forward to. Frederik and Mary talk about their everyday life, being parents, about Christian and Isabella and about their future role as the regent couple.

If you read Danish you have probably read it, but here are the links to an instant proof of how much work there is to do to translate it all*:

Berlingske Tidende "Kronprinsparret - kapitel 1: »Vi begynder dagen med at lave havregrød«"

Berlingske Tidende "Kronprinsparret - kapitel 2: »Vi vil være regentpar på vores personlige måde«"

Steen Brogaard photo series of Frederik, Mary, Christian, Isabella and Ziggy at home at Chancellery House in Fredensborg.

Linda Henriksen's photo series of the Crown Prince Couple in Fredensborg Palace Park (Linda Henriksen is a photographer with Berlingske Tidende)

The Crown Prince Couple through time is a photo gallery of Frederik and Mary from the first public kiss at the Royal Yacht Club in Hobart in January 2003 to a few of Frederik's wedding speech and some more recent ones on official duties

So, more to come!

* Never forget the elves at this blog do what they do in their spare time in different hemispheres for no more payment than the pleasure of bridging the Danish-English gap
