Frederik meets with Georgian President


Today Crown Prince Frederik has had an audience with the Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili at Amalienborg Palace, who is visiting Denmark today following new agreement on cooperation between the two countries.

An agreement on development of cooperation between Georgia and Denmark was signed by the Georgian and Danish Foreign Ministers, Gela Bezhuashvili and Per Stig Møller, respectively, on October 9.
Bezhuashvili, who is accompanying President Saakashvili on his official visit to Denmark, discussed a wide spectrum of relations between the two countries during the talks with his Danish counterpart.
According to the Georgian Foreign Ministry, the two ministers highlighted the process of Georgia's integration into the Euro-Atlantic structures. The Danish Foreign Minister pledged his support to Georgia on this road.
The issues of conflict resolution and the ongoing reforms in Georgia were also discussed during the talks.
