Frederik & Mary @ Gråsten Castle

DENMARK - 31 August 2007. Crown Princess Mary is once again back in the saddle after the birth of Princess Isabella in April. She and husband Crown Prince Frederik rode in the beautiful forests surrounding Gråsten Castle in southern Jutland, where they are spending the last part of their summer holidays. Mary, an excellent horsewoman, traditionally rides in the mornings whenever she visits Gråsten Castle, formerly the summer residence of Frederik's grandmother, Queen Ingrid. Once they dismounted, the couple hopped on bikes to return to the castle and their children Christian and Isabella.

Gråsten 1 August 2007. Crown Princess Mary and Crown Prince Frederik spent this week at the Gråsten Castle in South Jutland together with Queen Margrethe, Prince Henrik (now gone to France), Princess Benedikte, her son Prince Gustav and his girlfriend Carina Axelsson, and her daughter Princess Alexandra of Berleberg with her children Richard and Ingrid. The two little children of Mary and Frederik Prince Christian and Princess Isabella are there also. Every morning the Crown Princess and her husband go for a ride on the bridle path in the woods near the castle. The couple have their own horses with them on the holiday and after riding Mary and Frederik take their bikes back to the castle where little Christian and his little sister are waiting for mum and dad.
