A new tiara for Mary?

Goldsmith Helle Ladefoged Joerngensen and Zofia Cathharinia Enevoldsen (not in picture) from Ladefoged Gold and Silver design had the idea to honor Crown Princess Mary of Denmark. The crown was designed by both Helle and Zofia, and they will give it to Crown Princess Mary in the near future. We will have to wait and see if Mary wears it, it seems more like a hair decoration than a tiara perhaps.

How unique! I'd love more details about it's construction and materials.
Heh, heh! yes unique. There is a longer story posted on the Crown Princess Mary Elizabeth MB, but not actually a lot more information than appears here. It has gold, silver and gemstones in it. :-)
I can see this crown at a Hans Christian Anderson performance with her purple gown.
Noelle=)
Over at the CPMMB there was a comment about this being shameless publicity for the jewelry company of these two women. I would like to hear what others think of this statement.

Hi Linda 81
Commercial promotion seems to be everywhere: what do they say? everyone's making money off everyone else? The Danes did a bit of 'self promotion' in Sydney the day before the christening. The women's magazines couldn't exist, it would seem, without royalty. But I think you are right to ask the question. Our approach here is to just report the more or less reasonable news as it is happening so there is a kind of chronological record or what is going on with and around F&M. We'll think about your comment. Thanks for posting :-)
It doesn't look like anything that Mary would wear. I think that she will accept it.(Graciously of course) But personally for her to wear it to am important gala/event....I doubt it; but I could be wrong!!! I just don't think its fits into her style!!!
