Happy birthday Frederik!



Today is the birthday of Frederik André Henrik Christian, Prince of Denmark, born on 26 May 1968. So Frederik is 39, and after today's celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Royal Yacht Dannebrog, he will be having his birthday party onboard. Much more to come today... yes, Mary and Christian will also be part of the Dannebrog celebrations and Lille Prinsesse will be going onboard for the first time at 5 weeks old.

Hi nell,
Sorry, we have no idea. The birthday party part of the day is private and we must wait for the Danish journalists to do their work. They may not get anything much -- we must wait and see....
Today is the day after and there is nothing about the private party, so we will see what the weekly magazines have at the end of the week. Jane may well have gone home, and Frederik's party is likely to be their friends. Bigger parties tend to be for significant birthdays, not every birthday.

I guess it would be hard for journalists to get photos as the party was on Danneborg, I just thought there might be photos of the guests being transported to the ship.
