Frederik & Mary on old stamping ground in Sydney

Today Frederik, Mary and Christian have been in the eastern suburbs of Sydney, at the beach and then investigating a very changed Bondi Junction since Mary lived in the area. The eastern suburbs of Sydney, particularly from Bondi to Bronte, is where Frederik and Mary hung out during the secret period of their courting days in Sydney. In the past they enjoyed swimming, doing the spectacular cliff walk and going to one of the many cafes for breakfast. Today they returned to the familiar places with their son and a whole lot of new history since 2000.

Frederik must be in the air by now as he has to be in Copenhagen by 10am on Wednesday for a State Council meeting. We will see about Mary and Christian, maybe they will be in Sydney for another day, or, maybe not, we will see.

Added: Today Tonight (video clip 3:30) Princess Mary's fashion wardrobe: For the last two weeks, Princess Mary of Denmark has been in Australia. Plenty of fashion gurus have been admiring her style and grace.

It has been reported today that Mary and Christian have also left to return to Europe.

Safety first in sunny Sydney

IT was slip, slop, slap for little Prince Christian as he and his royal parents headed for an active day outdoors in Sydney yesterday.
Former Hobart girl Princess Mary did not forget the Australian sun safety message and made sure her one-year-old son had long sleeves, sunscreen and a hat.
The Danish royals enjoyed an afternoon at Bronte -- the ideal Sydney family park with pretty beach, barbecuing facilities and hectares of parkland that provided much needed shade on the sunny day.
The couple strode anonymously, with hundreds of other tourists, along the path that winds through the park, pausing once for Christian to explore the playground.
Dressed for an active day in shorts and sneakers, it is thought the Danish royals may have done the 6km Coogee to Bondi coastal walk before hitting the shops at Bondi.
Princess Mary and Prince Frederik were spotted browsing through stores in the prestigious Sydney suburb of Bondi Junction later in the day.
