Queen Margrethe and Mary at clothing historians ICOM conference

Today Queen Margrethe and Crown Princess Mary have attended the morning session of an international meeting of clothing historians at Vartov in Copenhagen. The theme of the meeting of clothing historians is: Costume, Decoration and Design. The International Council of Museums is convening a five day meeting with lectures, workshops and museum visits to Danish and Swedish collections, cathedrals, etc. The topics are wide ranging with participants from many European and U.S. insititutions.
