1. Alexandra, Princess zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg (in Carolina Herrera) with her husband Count Jefferson-Friedrich von Pfeil und Klein-Ellguth. Princess Alexandra is the eldest daughter of HRH Princess Benedikte of Denmark, younger sister to Queen Margrethe. Alexandra and Frederik are first cousins. The couple have a daughter, Ingrid (born 2003), named for Queen Ingrid.
2. Princess Märtha Louise of Norway and her husband Ari Behn. Märtha Louise and Ari Behn are part of the young parents brigade present at the wedding. They have two daughters, Maud Angelica (b.2003) and Leah Isadora (b.2005). Märtha Louise was among the royal visitors at the 2000 Sydney Olympics 2000 when Frederik and Mary had their chance meeting at The Slip Inn at The Rocks, (and 2, and 3). Märtha Louise and Frederik are distantly related through Prince Carl/King Haakon of the 1905 succession crisis.
3. From Belgium, Crown Prince Philippe and Crown Princess Mathilde (Duke and Duchess of Brabant). Again, among the young royal parents of Europe, the couple has three children: heir apparent Princess Elisabeth (b. 2001), Prince Gabriel (b. 2003) and Prince Emmanuel (b. 2005).
4. Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden. Victoria, future queen of Sweden is also distantly related to Frederik and is chosen as a godmother to Christian. Victoria is yet to marry.
5. Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway. Frederik is godfather to the future queen of Norway, their first born Ingrid Alexandra (b.2004). The couple has just had a second child, Sverre Magnus (b.2005) to add to their family of five as Mette-Marit has a son Marius from a previous relationship. The Norwegian and Danish royal families are close historically and in the present.
6. Queen Anne-Marie and Princess Benedikte are Frederik's aunts, the younger sisters of Queen Margrethe II.
7. Princess Alexandra (ex-wife of Prince Joachim) with eldest son Prince Nikolai and youngest son Prince Felix.
8. Crown Prince Pavlos and Crown Princess Pavlos (Marie-Chantal) of Greece. Pavlos is the first born son of ex King Konstantine and ex Queen Anne-Marie, who have five children and live in London. Pavlos is Frederik's first cousin and godfather to Christian. An unofficial site and the official site (under development). Pavlos and Marie-Chantal have four children ranging in age from 10 years old to 18 months.
9. From The Dutch Royal House, Prince Constantijn and Princess Laurentien, who have two children 4 and 2 years old.
