Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik celebrate their 41st wedding anniversary today. The wedding was a national celebration and took place in Holmens Kirke in Copenhagen. After a carriage ride through the streets and wedding photos at Amalienborg, it moved north to Fredensborg Palace. Sounds familiar! There were a lot of 'mirrors' of the celebrations between the weddings in 1967 and Mary's and Frederik's in 2004, which were both state occasions.
Congratulations! I think they are an even more handsome couple today.
